The Planets Live

Paul Rissmann leads a musical exploration of Holst's The Planets from the inside out followed by a full scale performance conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen.

Using large-screen projection, musical demonstrations and interviews this is a rare opportunity to see into the heart of a great classic.

BBC Planet Earth in Concert tours the UK throughout September with the Philharmonia Orchestra. It is a live version of the ground-breaking, award-winning BBC documentary (2006), presented on an HD screen.
